MYSMOND®
Zirconium-niobium Femoral Head
0Metal Allergy
0Fracture
Low Magnetic Susceptibility
No Risk of Fracture
Compared to ceramic heads, zirconium-niobium substrate retains the same strength and toughness as metal. After undergoing 10 million fatigue tests, it still maintains good mechanical performance. Compression tests validate no risk of fracture.

Low MRI Artifact
Compared to CoCr femoral heads, the zirconium niobium alloy femoral heads used in zirconium and niobium have a lower magnetization rate. Among the Zr-xNb compositions, the use of Zr-2.5Nb is within the lowest magnetization range of Zr-xNb materials, resulting in lower MRI artifacts compared to other Zr-xNb compositions.

Low Fretting and Corrosion Risk at the Taper
Compared with CoCr Femoral Head:
The taper features an oxidized Zr-2.5Nb on titanium alloy interface, combining the toughness of metal. This design exhibits lower fretting and corrosion risk.

Wear Resistance of Ceramic Interface
Tapered Low Micromotion -Low Corrosion Risk
Compared to CoCr femoral heads, the taperutilizes a zirconium oxide ceramictitanium alloy interface, combining the toughness of metal and exhibiting lower micromotion corrosion.

Excellent Biocompatibility
Compared with CoCr Femoral Head:
Mysmondtm femoral head(Zr-2.5Nb and Oxidized Zr-2.5Nb)shows zerc cytotoxicity and zero metal hypersensitivity,d emonstrating excellent biocompatibility.
