Zhejiang's First Dual Mobility Total Hip Replacement Surgery
Recently, the first dual mobility total hip replacement surgery in Zhejiang province was successfully performed at the First Affiliated Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University. This marked the first instance in Zhejiang where the JUST Dual Mobility Total Hip Joint System with screw fixation was used for a total hip replacement procedure.

Gender: Male
Age: 65 years
Patient Overview: The patient suffered a right femoral neck fracture due to external trauma, classified as Garden IV. He had a history of post-stroke sequelae, resulting in reduced muscle strength (grade 4) in the right lower limb. This made him a high-risk candidate for Joint Replacement dislocation. Additionally, the patient had significant adipose tissue, which added to the complexity of the surgery.
Comprehensive Plan: Prior to surgery, AI-assisted precise design was utilized to determine the prosthesis model and optimal implantation angles. Intraoperatively, a minimally invasive DAA (Direct Anterior Approach) was employed to preserve muscle integrity to the greatest extent possible and repair the joint capsule. The JOST Dual Mobility Total Hip Joint System with screw fixation was selected to minimize damage, prevent postoperative joint dislocation, and ensure the initial stability of the joint prosthesis and early mobility.
Postoperatively, the patient's bilateral lower limbs have fully recovered and are of equal length, essentially restoring him to his pre-injury condition.
